I forgot which area I actually serve in....?
Wednesday April 28th: Today was a pretty average pday! Went to to Whitehouse played some Frisbee golf, got Wendy's, played some pool, and headed home. During the night we had a good coordination meeting with the branch and good lesson with Josh talking about the importance of church and the sacrament! We read Moroni 3-5, and it wasn't too bad, sadly still no big commitments from him yet, hopefully soon!
Thur: Had a good day! Not a whole ton to report on, had a good time watching the mission devotional, did some finding, had a good lesson with Lisa going over the 3 kingdoms, and that was pretty much it! Sorry for the boring day, but that's what it was!
Fri: Had a good weekly planning in the morning then Franklin came over to start exchanges, it was me and Elder Brainard working here in the Portland area! Just did a lot of finding in the afternoon and then met back up with Elder Myers and Pace for dinner and played some basketball with some guys at the park we ate at, it was super fun! We went home after and got back in contact with some really cool formers! Not a bad day!
Sat: Today was pretty good, not a whole lot happened in the am but in the afternoon we went to food lion and I had a really strong prompting to talk to this guy on a bench, I ignored it, but turned around before we got in the car and headed back, his name is Ryan and within the first 3 mins of talking he said he's been looking for somewhere to be baptized, it was really cool, we gave him a Book of Mormon and set up a time to talk again! Had another long interesting lesson with Wanda, it didn't go anywhere, she's not interested. Then we had a good lesson with a less active named Sister Bowers, she is so awesome and we just got to know her much better and she committed to come to church tomorrow!! Super sweet!
Sun: Had a really good church service, a recent convert was asked to give a talk and it was so good, so spiritual, you could tell how nervous he was, but he did so good, I love that guy, it was Danny, I'm pretty sure I've talked about him before. I also got the opportunity to bear my testimony which was nice! We stopped at Chastity's on the way home and had a really good lesson on her porch and set up a time to call later that day, sadly it didn't end up happening! Then I had this lady I called into that was giving me the most attitude ever and making super rude remarks and I was already hangry from fasting so I just threw the phone at Elder Myers and said take this one I can't, and it ended up being a super awesome spiritual call, guess it really shows why we go two by two lol. After that it was all finding!
Mon: had a great last district council for this transfer, sister Cebellero is leaving so we went to Raising Canes in Bowling Green for our last district lunch! Then we went on exchanges with White House after that! It was me and Elder Baker working in White House, and we had a SUPER spiritual lesson with a guy named Edward, it was so powerful, he loved Joseph Smith's expirience and knew he needed a Book of Mormon by the end, it was a fantastic lesson. Then we had a member dinner because there was a non member that came with the Thomson's which was super awesome!! We came home and just did some finding to finish out the night!
Tue: Today was good too, we didn't do too much in the morning but in the afternoon we went to a inactive members house for a meal and to do some service, it went really well! We were able to commit her to coming this week and also invite her nonmember husband! We came home and had a quick dinner break then got back to it and went a dropped off a Book of Mormon to a guy named Jeremy and that went really well and also stopped by another guy named Dennis and he was super hammered so we gave him a pamphlet and let him be lol. We got transfer news and our whole district is staying the same besides Sister Cebellero going home, so that's good!! Should be another awesome tranfer! We are all crashing at Whitehouse's apartment for the night so this should be fun too!!
