Wednesday April 21st: Today was pretty good. We went to go get Elder Myers a haircut in the morning and then got our shopping done. Later we headed to Bowling Green to go to the mall. Elder Myers got some pants to match his suitcoat because his other ones ripped haha. Then we picked up Panda and went and ate at the church! We got done there and wrapped up the day playing pickleball with the district. We came back to Franklin and worked with the Franklin Elders for the majority of the night. We got a car wash on our way home and the guy who owned it was giving it some work and we ended up getting a free wash, so that was nice!! That wrapped up pday!  Thur: Today was zone conference, always a good time! We got bdubs after of course! Then we tried to find some Tim Tams at Walmart with no luck. We headed home and saw a giant Indian statue so we had to get some pics with it! After that we came home and had a really successful night! We had a lesson with Wanda reading 2 Nephi 31 and te...

Week 60  Wednesday: Today was actually one of the most fun pdays I've had in a while!! It was sweet! We went bowling with the district along with some mega junky batting cages haha. Then we got Freddy's for lunch which was super good. Then we decided to go a park and turns out another district was there!! We ended up playing sand volleyball and it was super fun!! Just like old times in the 'boro. However, one of the STL's decided to call the AP's to "get permission" (report us) because technically you have to be in groups no larger than one district so they made us leave earlier than we woulda hoped, but it's whatever it was a great time while it lasted and there was also a group of kids next to us playing all these songs I used to listen to from back home and I was in heaven, uh I mean, I didn't listen I plugged my ears and sang approved music... anyways after that we went and hung out at the Franklin elders apartment till the pday was through an...

Wednesday March 31st: Today was good. We got some good rest in the morning and then went to the store. We picked up what we needed and then came home and changed and went to a sand volleyball court and played some volleyball with the district. Then we went to panda and then came home and talked to family. Pretty basic pday, not too bad just went super fast which was sad. Then we did some finding until about 8:30, with the interruption of someone in our apartment complex lighting their house on fire, so that was fun to check out. Afterwards we went to Garret's and had a super good lesson with him going over the baptismal questions, he is such a stud and I can't wait for the day he is able to be baptized, I definitely want to be apart of that!  *Normally I have a calendar app that I will use to go back through and remember what we did each day of the week. At the end of the week if I forget to write in my journal, I can reference back to that but this week I do not have that h...

I'm training....kind of?

Wednesday March 24th: Today was super average. Not much went on. We got hair cuts in the morning and then went and walked around that antique shop that we used to go to every now and then a few months ago for those who remember. Then we got cold stone and that pretty much wrapped up pday. Afterwards we had a night of finding with nothing to report on. Crazy to think I'd be headed to Portland tomorrow if it weren't for the positive covid test in the mission. Thursday: Today was pretty sweet! We drove to Nashville to get Elder Cory, a new missionary, who may or may not be staying with Elder Thacker when I leave. The reason I'm not sure is there are a bunch of new missionaries who are with their "trainers" only temporarily until their real trainers get out of quarantine. So Elder Thacker will be training it's just TBD if it will be Elder Cory or not, but I think it'd be weird if they switched him, but who knows! We got Hattie B's for lunch and then came...
