Elder LaPray Nashville Tennessee

  Wednesday October 21st: Today was a pretty fun pday! Elder Packer made pancakes and I made buttermilk syrup for the district. We had a big pancake hangout on our porch before we all headed off to target. We got our flu shots along with a 10 dollar gift card which was used for jerky and sushi lol. Then we headed to Walmart for our groceries and then headed home. We emailed and talked to family for the rest of pday! After pday we did some finding and found a couple people and had a one really long lesson and one really short one. The long lesson we taught the first lesson up until the great apostasy because the guy was super biblically smart and so we got into a lot of deep stuff which then turned into adam and eve, and it was a wild lesson! He definitely was super cool, sadly he is going out of town for the  next few weeks but we are looking forward to talking again! Wednesday October 14th: Today was sweet! We went to Walmart in the morning and picked up all we needed and then came home and chilled. We talked to family for bit and sent out emails. Then we headed to a cornmaze with the district and the zone leaders and it was kind of a waste of 5 bucks haha but the Sisters wanted to go so you do whatcha gotta do I guess! Afterwards we went to the Sisters and had smores and just talked and we had a pretty great time. Elder Kholer (one of the zone leaders) and I then headed down to Hopkinsville once again and worked the rest of the night here. I'll be on exchanges with him until tomorrow and it should be good. He is a cool dude. Cya tomorrow! Thursday: Today was super good! We went to give a lesson off a busy road at a coffee place. It was pretty loud but the guy that the zone leaders have been teaching was still able to get his answers and confirmed that there is truth in the Book of Mormon. It was a great conversation!   Wednesday October 7th: Today was a sweet pday! We woke up and hit an early tee time at the golf course and played 18 holes! I didnt play super well considering I haven't played for a year (lol excuses I know) but it was super fun just to be out on a course regardless! After we talked to family and sent out emails until 6! We followed that with some Facebook work and ended the night with Katie. We did a lesson and read the Book of Mormon.  We decieded to send out a few more invitations before bed. It was definitely one of the better pdays I've had in this area forsure!  Thursday: Today wasn't too bad! We had a lesson at 9:30 with a guy named Steven! It went super great teaching the first half of the restoration and so we set up a return appointment for Sunday, he's awesome! Then we did some inviting for the rest of the morning.   Wednesday September 30th: Not much of a crazy pday to he honest. Wrote some emails, went to the store, went and ate a giant brunch at Huddle House, went to the dr., talked to family, and then made invitations until bed! I guess the only stand out thing is that I met a guy named Billy and he wants to get baptized again and so I explained the process and he wants to meet in person tomorrow so cross your fingers that happens!!  Thursday: This morning we had a trainer/new missionary meeting! It lasted a pretty long time but it was good! Then we did some finding pretty much the rest of the day until ward correlation meeting. It went well. We then finished out the night making invitations at the church! It was pretty quick day!  Friday: Today we did a lot of weekly planning! It was productive thought.
