Conference Weekend!!

Wednesday September 30th: Not much of a crazy pday to he honest. Wrote some emails, went to the store, went and ate a giant brunch at Huddle House, went to the dr., talked to family, and then made invitations until bed! I guess the only stand out thing is that I met a guy named Billy and he wants to get baptized again and so I explained the process and he wants to meet in person tomorrow so cross your fingers that happens!!

Thursday: This morning we had a trainer/new missionary meeting! It lasted a pretty long time but it was good! Then we did some finding pretty much the rest of the day until ward correlation meeting. It went well. We then finished out the night making invitations at the church! It was pretty quick day!

Friday: Today we did a lot of weekly planning! It was productive thought. We were definitely able to set up a week of potential success for the last week of transfer! Afterwards we went to the church and made a post for our facebook page! We helped Brother Merrill set up the projector for conference tomorrow and played a little basketball, it was a good day for sure!

Saturday: Today was sweet! General conference was awesome!! I was able to take a lot of good notes. General conference on the mission has definitely been so much more exciting than it used to be in the past, I love it! Katie, our investigator, was able to come alone to the first session and with her dad to the second! He asked her some questions after and the spirit was able to help her answer his questions (see pic below) literally the coolest thing ever! I directed her to D&C 100:5-6.

We had lunch from Arby's in between sessions with Katie and gave a blessing to another missionary after that too. We did some finding at night but nothing to special happened after conference, pumped for tomorrow!!

Sunday: Well it was another good couple conference sessions today! Katie and her mom came to the first one, sadly her mom wasn't a huge fan, but Katie came again to the second one with her friend Kendall and they both really enjoyed it so that was sweet! We headed home after and made some invitations, pretty much a direct mirror day of yesterday so nothing new, but it definitely is such a blessing to hear from our leaders! Study the talks given, apply them to your life, don't take for granted the revelation God gives you, if you do, why would he continue to give it?

Monday: Today was good! We had a great district council and then all got together for lunch afterwards! Then we were able to go attempt to have an in person lesson with a lady who lives fairly close to us so we decided to walk and I brought out my tracting bag for the first time since march lol it was weird! We knocked and she called us and said she wasn't ready for the day but we could talk on the phone so we walked home and called her again and had a little lesson with her, it was good, she definitely has potential!! Afterwards we did a lot of finding. I made some fruity pebble cookies too haha that was pretty fun, they weren't too bad!! Solid day. Transfer news tomorrow!!

Tue: Today was good! We contacted pretty much all day besides a gospel study class at night and a lesson after that too! The lesson was with a guy named Garrett who the Elders next door are passing off to us so we are going to be teaching him now! He's a cool guy! We played a little bit of ball throughout the day at the church and that was fun too! We got transfer news! I'll be staying here with Elder Packer until further notice! Let's go! Should be another great transfer!!

                                                                   I love a good sunset!
