Elder LaPray Nashville Tennessee

Wednesday June 17th: Today was good! We went to Walmart in the morning and then I talked to Hannah until later in the afternoon. Then we went to London and played volleyball and spike ball which was super fun! Shirley texted us and told us she wasn't interested anymore and to delete her number which is really sad :( she was very kind and polite about it though! Came home and called a girl named Cheali who a few years back had a baptismal date but then her parents made her watch a bunch of anti things and it didn't end up happening. She just celebrated her birthday today and she is now 18 so it's her choice and we are going to go to lunch on Friday to get to know her better! Then we had a good coordination call with the ward and now for the sad part...Pday is over :( until the next, gnight! Thurs: Today was pretty good, we started off the morning by getting a call from the Sisters in the ward next to us that there was a lady who needed a priesthood blessing before her doctor...

Wednesday June 10th: Today was one of the best days of my mission so far! We had a goodnights rest and then woke up and went to Walmart to get all the things we needed. We then headed to the Spanish Elders new apartment they call mini London because the streets are cobblestone and the apartments look just like you are in London haha it's so nice! We met up with a few missionaries from the zone and played some sand volleyball for a couple hours. We then headed to Sonic to get some slushies and food and came back and ate by the volleyball courts. After that most of the zone went home and a few of us went to their apartment, which is also so nice haha its unfair, but we just hung out there until pday was over. A great opportunity to get to know each other better. We came home and did a little bit of Facebook, had a lesson fall through :( and then we had ward coordination meeting over zoom. Week 16 Wednesay June 3rd: Had a good pday! Talked to family and emailed all morning then got ready and headed out to Target to get a blanket Elder Tietjen needed. Next we went bowling and I won... again of course ;) just teasing but then we went to Walmart and picked up our food for the week and met this super nice lady named Ronda who told us her crazy coming to Jesus story and said she would love for us to give her a call so we got her number and then came home. Talked to family again then pday ended and so we made a few contacts, had a lesson, then Elder Tietjen got picked up and headed off to his new area and Elder Iverson and I had a zone call and then went to bed! Out!  Thur: Went for a run this morning and then had a good personal study. Made some contacts and then tried for more on Facebook, then we went to call Ronda and guess the heck what... I must have put her number in wrong and missed a digit!!! I'm so dumb I tried calling every number from 1-9 of that missing...

Wednesday May 27th: Had a good morning. We hung out at the apartment and then went to Walmart. After we went to an ice cream place and got some good shakes! Had a great lesson with Shirley, she is so sweet. Then we attempted to go to our next door neighbors house, who asked us to come over, and some guy we have never seen before opened the door and said,  "Hey I know yall have an appointment or whatever but we're good" and slammed the door on us. It was so sad haha! We ended the day with a good zone call and now I'm ready for bed! Shut eye!  Thurs: We had another mission wide zone conference and then heard from Elder James Martino for a bit and that was good. I got a Book of Mormon in the mail and it is super cool! It specifies who is talking and this will definitely help me understand parts of it more, thanks Grandma!! Then we went to the church and had a good personal and comp study!
