There was a taragtula in my shower!

Week 16

Wednesay June 3rd: Had a good pday! Talked to family and emailed all morning then got ready and headed out to Target to get a blanket Elder Tietjen needed. Next we went bowling and I won... again of course ;) just teasing but then we went to Walmart and picked up our food for the week and met this super nice lady named Ronda who told us her crazy coming to Jesus story and said she would love for us to give her a call so we got her number and then came home. Talked to family again then pday ended and so we made a few contacts, had a lesson, then Elder Tietjen got picked up and headed off to his new area and Elder Iverson and I had a zone call and then went to bed! Out! 

Thur: Went for a run this morning and then had a good personal study. Made some contacts and then tried for more on Facebook, then we went to call Ronda and guess the heck what... I must have put her number in wrong and missed a digit!!! I'm so dumb I tried calling every number from 1-9 of that missing digit which led to some really awkward phone calls but none of them were her. Gosh dang it!! I really hope we bump into her again! So unfortuante! Had a good lunch break then comp study followed by a lesson with Chris, Miranda, and Lucas. Then had a couple lessons fall through, had a district call and some more Facebook time. We went and talked with the spanish Elders for a bit which was fun, then finished off the day by making some more contacts. I worked out tonight and my arms are literally shaking while I'm holding my phone lol my motivation is literally the protien powder I bought and me not wanting to waste it haha so whatever works;) Now I just need to fix my diet! Bed! 

Fri: Had a good morning and made some more contacts! Had a long conversation with Sister Wauford then jumped into weekly planning and had a really good time planning for this week! Went and got the baptismal forms from bishop that he signed and left in his mailbox, then had a lot more weekly planning. Had two lessons with Glenda and Patricia. Glenda is having a hard time understanding the priesthood, but Elder Iverson was really bold with her and that was pretty cool. Patricia was kinda interested but not really. Had a good comp study and  then Sister Dunaway brought us Panda and that was way good! Talked to Kalu from Elder Iverson's old area and helped him realize that our church does in fact believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God despite some anti he was told... confirmed some service we are doing for a member tomorrow and then had a good lesson with a less active member as well and be committed to reading the scriptures more and coming back to church when it opens! Zzz! 

Sat: This morning we were cleared to do service!!! We went to a less active members house and did some yard work for her. It was so good to get out and serve! She even fed us some super good lasagna, bread, green beans, potatoes, and cheesecake, it was so kind of her.  We came home and had a good lesson with Miranda and read 1 Nephi 1. Dropped off a book of mormon to a referral and that went really well and Elder Iverson gave me some tips on the way home about how I can be better and I really appreciated that. We made some contacts and then had a good district devotional. Finally took our lunch break and then had comp study and a good weekly planning session. Elder Iverson and I talked a lot and got to know each other a lot more and that was good. We had a great lesson on the plan of salvation with Ray, and finished off the night with Dinner from David! A really good day! Snooze! 

Sun: Had a massive spider in my shower to get the morning started so yall already know today is going to be good!! I had to step over it cuz I found it half way through the shower and get toilet paper and kill it cuz I knew if I just washed it down the drain it would come back up the next day haha! Then we had a good district devotional, made some good contacts, had a good lesson with Glenda and a one last lesson with Kalu before we left him to the new Elders in Elder Iversons old area. Had a good time talking to family then finally broke my fast after I almost starved... had two more good lessons with Miranda and Shirley and got members to both of them. One of those members was Sister Robinson for Shirley and she is the nicest lady! We had a mission wide devotional with Elder Tai of the Seventy and his Wife Sister Tai and that was sweet. Now I'm ready for bed!! Crash! 

Mon: Today was good, no spiders today so that was awesome! We had a fun district council that took up the morning! Then we came home had lunch and comp study and a lesson over text with some guy from another country. We then went to the church and I did a lot of Facebook contacting while Elder Iverson edited a makeup tutorial video for our page one of the sisters sent in lol that took awhile! Then we came home again and had dinner and attempted a few more contacts then we went to David's for what we planned on being a lesson but turned into him showing Elder Iverson all his pictures with missionaries throughout the years and showing me some of the houses he is looking at buying in Utah and telling me I can come visit which I'm super pumped for lol we came home and worked out then hit the sack. Snore! 

Tues: Had a good day! Went for another run this morning, then we let the sisters into the church because they didnt have a key. We came home and did a lot of Facebook work until lunch. Did some more Facebook work again and had a good comp study. Sent out some uplifting messages to some of our people over text, had a zone Facebook call, then dinner and then we called random numbers with our city's area code for the rest of the night and actually had some decent success so that was pretty cool!! Dr Bailey came and got us some more water and dropped some treats, hes a cool guy! Now bed, rest!
