New Transfer, New comp, Lots of service, Noah wasn't a prophet??

 Wednesday June 16th: Today was kind of a lame pday but not the worst one I've had! We picked up doughnuts in the morning and then played basketball, spikeball, and talked to family. Then we went and got Popeyes, followed by hanging at the clubhouse, playing pool, and talking to family again. That was basically pday haha. We came home and went and visited the Roaches and also Candice and Aria to say goodbye to all them for Elder Myers. We came home and that was the day! Super sad to see Elder Myers leaving tomorrow, but it'll be okay. 


Thursday: Well today was transfers! We went and dropped Elder Myers off at White House with Elder French to head to Nashville and Elder Baker came with me! We went and painted a fence for 2 1/2 hours but it came out looking really good! See pic below, + check out Elder Baker in the pic twice lol. Afterwards, we went to Walmart got some things we needed, came home got unpacked and adjusted, then got back to work! We were able to call a few sweet people and invite others to come unto Christ but that's all for today! 

Friday: Had a pretty good day! Did some more service. We raked A TON of leaves!! All the bags below in the pic are full of them! We came home and did our weekly planning followed by an awesome lesson with Candice on the temple! We are going to try super hard to get her there by next Wednesday it will be super hard though considering she gets confirmed Sunday, but with faith all is possible! We drove home and tried to visit someone but her husband wouldn't let us see her and then proceeded to try and bum a ride to the store with us and we were like heck no haha. Other than that we did some finding and taught a few lessons over the phone. 

Saturday: Today was good, a lot of work! We started out by having a few lesson, one with a guy named Sam, who I for someone reason put his number in my phone awhile back and hadn't called or done anything with it! We called and we talked a lot about about the Book of Mormon, it was a super good random call! We finished our weekly planning in the afternoon. Talked to this cool chick named Skyler who apparently was never baptized but whose parent s were and she wants to get back into our church and be baptized! Super crazy we were able to randomly call into her but hopefully things go well with her!! (Edit/update: her phone now says disconnected number when we call) then we finished out the night by calling some people who were formerly taught without much luck and saying a prayer over video call with our district that we could have some people come to church tomorrow! 

Sunday: Had a great church service and I was able to confirm Candice!!! It was so awesome! Such a privilege that I have to be a missionary and in a position where I am able to do things like that. Other than that really it was just a lot of busy work. Followed by the devotional to end the night, kind of a boring day. Side note: our friend Cameron was baptized in another church today... 

Monday: Today we had a good district council in Franklin! We did a quick Walmart run after followed by a fun lunch with the district at the church! We went to Camerons and talked and he didn't say anything about his baptism until we asked and basically the whole conversation was just kind of lame. He basically admitted the only reason he talks to us is he likes the company, so we kindly said if you come to church (show commitment) we'll talk some more but until then we'll be seeing ya! We walked out and ran into his downstairs neighbor, Cathy, who is such a sweet old lady! We helped her carry in groceries and taught her about the restoration! She loved it and said she'd love to talk again soon! So we set up an appointment and parted ways! Definitely helped after the let down lesson with Cameron! We had a good lesson with our recent convert friend Danny, just reading the Book of Mormon then talked to another awesome lady named Laura before the end of the night on the phone! Good day!! 

Tuesday: wow today was a miracle! We were able to get Candice's record number back from Salt Lake which typically takes a week or so!! Then we ran into another problem because our branch President was out of town so we weren't sure if he could assign his counselors to interview her due to the fact it's a branch not a ward but we got approval and sure enough candice is now recommended to the Lord and we were able to squeeze into a temple slot for tomorrow!!! So pumped!! Other than that just the basics, did some calling, Facebook, etc. The only thing that was worth talking about is we went and visited this one lady named Catherine and we were on her porch for way too long. She thought she had it all and knew everything and wouldn't let us talk and kept sharing pointless stories and would "correct" everything we said like like Moses, Noah, and Adam weren't actually Prophets ??? lol it was so dumb but its fine. Tomorrow is PDAY!!! Night

Entering the Missionary Training Center

Woke up in the morning to finish packing. We then headed out for lunch at Riverside Country Club with my family, nana, grandpa, and grandma (papa is in Arizona playing in a golf tournament)It was nice to visit at lunch. Crying set in for a few of my siblings as we were getting ready to leave. We stopped at the Provo Temple for a few quick photos then headed toward the MTC. My checkin time was 12:30. It was a quick drop off as there was a line of cars. Maybe that made the goodbye a little easier for me. Now the work begins.  First MTC photo taken by my Aunt Sarah. We had to drive for 3 hours.......

  Wednesday January 6th: Today was honestly way fun. We went and played basketball in the morning with the zls for the first time in forever! It was actually competitive which was the best part! Then the sisters came and we messed around passing the ball to them and letting them try and play for the next 30 mins or so and then we all went to Chick Fil A and then played 9 holes of disc golf which was surprisingly pretty fun! After pday was over we had the most interesting lesson with a guy named Chris. We assigned him to read Alma 30 and he did, like insanely did, he had printed notes and everything and it was so dumb because he completely missed the message because he was caught up in the little details like what a testimony is, freedom of speech in that time, and rights and stuff like that, which would've been fine, except for the fact that he wanted to talk about each of those things for 20 mins and so the lesson went no where... kind of unfortunate but we are going to have one m...

Cave Boating

  Wednesday: Today was super cool! Elder Hamilton and I had a lazy morning, but then headed up to Bowling Green for the afternoon!! We did this super cool boat tour of the lost river cave, super awesome! We then went to Texas Roadhouse for the first time on my mission and that was bomb!! We came home and didn't do too much. Elder Baker and I had coordination meeting for the branch on zoom as always. Other than that did some Facebook work and taught a girl named Jazlyn over the phone a little about the Book of Mormon so hopefully we can teach her more in the future!  Thursday: Nothing super interesting today we did a lot of finding, taught a guy named Mayberry about the restoration, then sent him off to the sisters in Gallatin where he lives. Talked to a guy named James a bit about the plan of salvation, he accepted a baptismal invite, but it was super nonchalant, so we sent him off to the elders in Lafayette who cover his area.
