Gotta Love Anti

 Wednesday June 2nd: Sorry for not sending out an email the past couple weeks. Days are quite monontaneous and we've also been pretty busy. I'll try to do better.

Today wasn't too bad! We went to Bowling Green for pday. We played soccer and basketball and then headed to domino's! Elder Myers and I bought for the whole district because they accomplished a goal we all set together and that was the deal! We came home after and had a lesson at Dairy Queen with our friend Hugh. He is very strong in his faith but was kind and bought us some blizzards and by the end his heart was definitely softened. Hopefully he can progress and read the Book of Mormon! 

Thursday: Today not much happened. We updated our phones to a new church update, went to the library and got some stuff printed off for our friend Danny. Later we watched the weekly mission devotional. Other than that just some lessons fell through, we did finding, and called people who had talked with missionaries in the past without much luck! 

Friday: Today was good! We had a lesson bright and early with a less active member of the branch, and he's near our age so we had a good time. He has a lot of really great goals so hopefully we can help him achieve those. After lunch we did weekly planning followed by a "lesson" with our Jehovahs witness friend. Their Doctrine is in the nicest word possible "interesting". We played basketball with him after though and ended up finding another guy named Dolan who we thought was just giving us crap because he started the conversation talking about the Book of Mormon play , but ended up being really interested and we had a good little discussion with him. We gave him a pamphlet and Book of Mormon before heading out! Then we went and had a good lesson with Cameron on the word of wisdom and we should hopefully be all good there. We came home packed up and headed to White House to work with the elders int that area tomorrow! 

Saurdayt: Today wasn't bad! We went and had a good workout in the morning, Elder Baker and I had a good companion study and then we ate lunch at Subway. We did a little Street contacting in the afternoon and found Debbie pronounced Deebbie, and taught her about the plan of salvation and get this, she actually lives in Portland, our area! Crazy! We set up a time to call next week. She sounded awesome! We played some cards for dinner and then did some finding throughout the night as well as having some lessons. We talked with Hugh about 1 Nephi 1-7, and explained a few things he was confused about and invited him to church! He said he could maybe make it although he has some other responsibilities to attend to, but hopefully all works out. We called Dolan back from yesterday and he has read Alma 18, read the pamphlet and even did some online study! He said he needs more time to look into and we said of course and invited him to read the introduction to the Book of Mormon as well as the testimonies of the witnesses and Joseph Smith. He as well might come to church. Then we got a terrible call from Cameron's Nanny who was super contentious and forcing Cameron to say stuff to us. However, he called us later after we drove home from White House and told us what we already knew, that it wasn't him. We aren't sure what to do though, this week she is prohibiting him from coming to church. We definitely don't want that for the future so we'll see how it plays out. 

Sunday: Today was good! We joined branch council in the morning over zoom and had a great church service. We taught Candice, who's on date for baptisim next Saturday, some of the commandments after church and that went awesome! Other than that we did a lot of finding. We had one lesson with a guy named Riley though, who ended up being from California on the phone and it went well! We finished up the day with the missionwide devotional as always. 

Monday: Had a great district council and a great lesson with Candice after teaching her the rest of the commandments! Then we had interviews with President over zoom and it went okay. We stopped by our friend Kelly's house on the way home and had an awesome lesson with her on the porch! Then later we called a guy named Kyren and had a good little chat with him and he was interested in learning more about the Book of Mormon later on so were excited for that! 

Tuesday: Today we blitzed/worked with the zone leaders in their area of Goodlettsville! Elder Scott and I went and visited a bunch of people who had been formerly taught and had some really great contacts and lessons! We taught this guy named Sam all about what we believe and got the chance to bear our testimonies the Spirit was definitely present and he said he'd come to church this week which also happens to be stake conference so it should be good! We taught another guy named Jeff and we actually were knocking on the door across the hall but he had a button that said push on his door and we pushed it and it was a doorbell lol. He was so cool, so definitely not a coincidence. He also fully plans on being at church and was actually looking for a new church, so very cool! We got Cracker Barrel for dinner and that wrapped up the night, good times!
