We lit the church on fire!!!

Wednesday February 24th: Today was pretty good! Got a good rest in then headed to the church for some basketball! Later we went to target and looked around for a bit, came home and talked to family and then did some finding at night! We only had one lesson with J.J. and we read the introduction and she seemed to understood it and appreciate it a fair amount, so that was good!! Nothing else really to report on though!

Thursday: Today was good! We had a good lesson with Melissa and taught the plan of salvation again which went well! We taught Umar the restoration and sadly at this time he isn't interested but he said he'll check out our church sometime!! Other than that we just did a lot of finding! Nothing super exciting!

Friday: Today was good! We went and did a clothing drive in the morning at our church that our ward set up and it was pretty decent! We found a lot of people to teach and share the gospel with and we got to give back to the community which was super sweet! We have one more day of it tomorrow too! We did weekly planning in the afternoon and the Judd's stopped by so we cleaned the house real quick too haha! We did some more finding at night and had another lesson with Michael and the YSA elders. He was tired this time around and so we aren't sure how well he paid attention, but he said he would read a little more on his own and the plan is for the Elders to meet him tomorrow in person so hopefully that goes better for them! Then we had our Friday night lights call as zone which is always fun!

Saturday: Had another great time at the clothing drive found 3 new people!! Maribel, Nelly, and Andres! Super stoked to continue teaching them, besides Maribel because she was referred to Nashville! Had a weird lesson with a lady named Diane. She let us pray with her before we started sharing the message and then was like "WAIT im not comfortable, you can come over in 3-4 months when covid stops and we were like okay?" Then she said bye... lol. Super wack! Other than that just a lot of finding. We went and picked up a Sean Payton lego guy for our zone leader that he found on market place lol and then we had the bonfire Facebook live event we do as a mission, and finished with some finding!

Sunday: Sunday was awesome!! We got to go to both Wards both Ktown and Sango! Both were great services!! Then we did a lot of finding throughout the afternoon and found 3 new people! Jessie, Dieufort, and Avonte! We taught them all the restoration, Jessie didn't seem too interested... but Dieufort is meeting us for a church tour tomorrow and we are dropping off Avonte a Book of Mormon Tuesday!! Other than that we drove to the Sango sisters apartment and gave them some pre-workout lol and then just went on a drive as we listened the mission devotional!! Not a bad time! I was also able to watch, via technology live, Hannah speak and conduct at the freshman seminary orientation. She did a great job! (Pic below)

Monday: Today was pretty great! We watched the MTC devotional in the morning and then drove to the Clarksville building and had interviews with President. He asked me for my opinion on the ward split and what we should do with the missionary situation. He said he had a lot of trust in me which is why he wanted to council with me first which made me feel pretty good about myself haha too bad I didn't have a whole lot of insight for him though!;) Oh well. We exchanged with ZL's after district council and Elder Kohler and I had two great lessons with Dieufort showing him the church and before hand Elder Kohler put some cookie dough in a paper cup in the microwave and forgot about it. We came back in and it was literally on fire and the microwave was billowing smoke so it smelled great when we were walking around the church lol!! We had a lesson with Lisa teaching about the gospel of Jesus Christ and Sister Reist helped us out which was super nice!! Then we had Aiden's baptismal interview which went super great!! He just had a little problem dropping sweet tea, but his mom (recent convert Nadia) was great and really helped him to understand why, so he got it taken care of! Did some finding to finish off the night after dinner, than Elder Kohler and I just talked forever while we were going to bed, he's a cool dude, tomorrow will be good!

Tuesday: Today was way good! For excersize in the morning we ran to Wendy's and got breakfast baconators with a honey buttered biscuit with a coupon we had and that was good! Didn't burn off what we ate but it was good ha! Came home and got ready for the day. We did a lot of finding and also taught a lot of lessons! We went to a sushi place for lunch which was the bomb and then had panda for dinner lol which we ate at the church while playing volleyball with Elder Thacker and Elder Kirkwood and the STL's! We also found a grill on Facebook marketplace for FREE so we picked that boy up and it's way nice!! Sitting on the patio now. It was a good day forsure!
