Last week in Sango.....wait just kidding!

Wednesday March 17th: Today was pretty fun! We played basketball with some Elders from another district and our zone leaders and little with our sister training leaders at the end. It was super fun to play hard competitive ball again. There was a good amount of talent on the court so it was fun to actually play as hard as I could again! We went to Huddle House after and had a big ole brunch with the district and zone leaders and we had a great time! Then we got banished to our apartments by President because of the weather and tornado danger so we spent the rest of pday talking to family! We had a productive night as well! Had two calls with girls named Jayla and Kyra and set up return appointments with them to talk more about the Book of Mormon and then had a decent lesson with a dude named Brother Q. He is one that goes by the Bible 100% so we should have no problems unless he just wants to argue, so we'll see! Later we had another lesson with Sylviane as I mentioned last week and sadly she isn't willing to learn more at this time, but she said we could drop off a Book of Mormon to her so that is good at least! It was a good day!

Thursday: Today was alright! We watched the world wide missionary devotional in the morning. Then Sylviane texted us and told us she changed her mind about getting the Book of Mormon and she doesn't want one or to talk with us any further so that was nice. ;) We went to Chick Fil A as a district and then had a zone call trying to get everyone motivated again, it went alright haha. We had a lesson with Linda and it went super good and she gave us her address to drop off a Book of Mormon, and then at the very end she asked how we got her number and we told her and she did NOT like it for some reason so she shut it all down. We sent over the missionaires nearest to her anyway and they got the door slammed on their face... oops. Had a few more good restoration lessons, but that's about it.

Friday: Nothing much happened today. Had a good weekly planning session and then had a couple of good lessons. One of them was with a Jehovah's Witness and he started to run out of answers and so he got really weird and said he had to go haha. Decent day overall though.

Saturday: We had a couple of good lessons, one with a guy who thought he knew everything that didn't end up going anywhere, and was frankly a waste of time. Had a good lesson with an inactive and a member friend of his and they are both old so they were talking about all the good old times growing up and teasing each other and making jokes and it was actually fun to listen to. Sadly we couldn't get him to commit to church. He had too many excuses. Great guy though. Had a good correlation meeting with the ward, and then dropped off a Book of Mormon before the day was done.

Sunday: Had some great church services today and Ciera and her family came and they were fellowshipped by the ward very well and it was so so awesome! We found a couple new people and talked to them a bit about the Book of Mormon. Then we had our missionwide devotional and all the missionaries who are leaving bore their testimony and it was really spiritual and really sad to see some of my good friends go.

Monday: We had our last district council, sad again, but good. The Pollock's who were the stake social media specialists took us out to lunch at Cheddars which is a really nice place and very good! We went home and did some finding and found a new person, nothing too big. Bro Merrill took us out to dinner and he is so awesome! We had a good time with him and the sisters. Came home for a bit and then went back to the sisters apartment with the district and we all found on the porch. It is Sister Fullmers last night and our way of saying goodbye. I'm really sad she's leaving. She has been a super good friend to me. I am also really sad to leave this area/district I've been here for so long it feels like home, so tonight was another sad night.

Tuesday: Really long boring day to be honest. A lot of finding and hardly any success. We went to the church for dinner to get it from a member and did the rest of the finding for the night there just to get a change of scenery. I found out I will be transferring to Portland, TN which should be good. However, tonight we received some crazy news! There was a covid out break in the mission so transfers are being delayed and TBD of when they will happen and 4 missionaires who were supposed to go home can't. So that really really sucks for them and is going to make everything revolving transfers really weird. By the way, I'm still pretty sad about all the changes lol. I'll be okay though.
