Elder LaPray Nashville Tennessee

  Wednesday March 17th: Today was pretty fun! We played basketball with some Elders from another district and our zone leaders and little with our sister training leaders at the end. It was super fun to play hard competitive ball again. There was a good amount of talent on the court so it was fun to actually play as hard as I could again! We went to Huddle House after and had a big ole brunch with the district and zone leaders and we had a great time! Then we got banished to our apartments by President because of the weather and tornado danger so we spent the rest of pday talking to family! We had a productive night as well! Had two calls with girls named Jayla and Kyra and set up return appointments with them to talk more about the Book of Mormon and then had a decent lesson with a dude named Brother Q. He is one that goes by the Bible 100% so we should have no problems unless he just wants to argue, so we'll see! Later we had another lesson with Sylviane as I mentioned last week ...

  Hey everyone I know I've been super bad at keeping up on my journals lately so this is going to be kind of a summary of all the big important things I want to remember and hope y'all enjoy reading too!  Friday March 5 we taught this guy named Jordan. He literally was one of the most prepared people I have talked to on my mission. It was the sweetest thing ever, homie has been praying for God to answer his prayers and lead him to the truth and the restoration rang so clearly to him. He was so appreciative and wanted us to know he believes we truly were sent to him by God and it was so touching. We sadly had to pass him off though to the sisters in NC so hopefully they treat him good!  Sat 6th - Took a half hour lunch today to take an hour and a half dinner. We went and got all the local chicken sandwiches to have a competition!   Wednesday February 24th: Today was pretty good! Got a good rest in then headed to the church for some basketball! Later we went to target and looked around for a bit, came home and talked to family and then did some finding at night! We only had one lesson with J.J. and we read the introduction and she seemed to understood it and appreciate it a fair amount, so that was good!! Nothing else really to report on though!  Thursday: Today was good! We had a good lesson with Melissa and taught the plan of salvation again which went well! We taught Umar the restoration and sadly at this time he isn't interested but he said he'll check out our church sometime!! Other than that we just did a lot of finding!
