Anotha week come and gone

Wednesday November 25th: Today was a pretty average pday. Woke up and talked to family. Went to huddle house and had some good breakfast and then went to Walmart. We did our shopping and finished off pday with bowling with the district and talking to family. We did a bunch of calls and finding after 6 and nothing really huge happened. My parents got me a new phone for Christmas because mine currently is terrible, it always freezes and I have to turn it on and off all the time and it's just not very good. The new one is awesome! I'm so grateful for them for the love they have for me and how much they have and continue to sacrafice for me to make me happy as well as the rest of my siblings. I truly love them a whole lot, and I miss them tons. I'm also grateful for all y'all reading this, thank you for your support, I love you. Hope everyone has a happy Thanksgiving tomorrow!

Thursday: Well today was Thanksgiving! Nothing really too special happened today. We had a mission wide facebook training in the morning along with a MTC devotional. We did some cold calling and Facebook finding along with Thanksgiving dinner at the Porter's which was super fun! We came home and just wished everyone we have numbers for in our missionary book a happy Thanksgiving and got like 2 responses lol... it wasnt too bad of a day but like I said nothing really too special either!

Friday: Today was just another average day, made some contacts in the morning, did weekly planning in the afternoon, and then contacted/invited again at night. Nothing really special, sorry this is probably one of my lamest entries but honestly today was just super basic.

Saturday: We taught a few lessons today but they we weren't the ones we were planning on haha. We went to the church to have Don's lesson with Brother Pratt. Brother Pratt was there but when we called Don, even though we confirmed last night, he said he cant be there because family stuff came up. I hate to say it but that was definitely just an excuse. I kept talking to him and he said he still doesn't have faith in the Book of Mormon. Brother Pratt asked if he could take the phone and they had a pretty good conversation, but sadly it didn't really go anywhere. We will hopefully have one more lesson next week to gauge his interest but if nothing changes, it is probably time to say goodbye to Don...for now ;(. Grace also never got back to us so her lesson fell through and if she doesn't make it to church tomorrow her baptism date is going to have to be pushed back. Hopefully she makes it... anyways, now on to the lessons we did have. We had a lesson with a lady named Sierra and her kids over the phone and we taught them how to pray! It was so cool, her kids were so nice, and they said they would come to church tomorrow! We are PRAYING they actually do and it wont just be like the 3 people who said they would come to church last week and sounded promising and then dropped off the face of the earth. The other lessons were okay, but none of them were very beneficial mostly just teaching what we believe and them either disagreeing or not caring. But another pretty basic day aside from all that stuff.

Sunday: Today was actually really good. We had 3 people come to church and the ward was super awesome! We sat by our new friend Caleb and literally like 6-7 people came up and introduced themselves and he told us later today that he definitely wants to come back and he's never felt so welcome, it was awesome! The other ones, were Sierra and her kids!! They came!! They were a bit late, so the ward didn't get to fellowship them as much, but she really enjoyed it and turns out her parents are lds so boom she's prepared!! We didn't have much going on in the afternoon, Sierra joined in for the gospel study class and experienced some great fellowhshipping there, it was so awesome! We had dinner with the Bonnells home. I had the opportunity to rev his harleys and goodness gracious revving a motorcycle and smelling exhaust made me miss my dirtbike more than you can imagine!! We had a good phone call with Garret afterwards and brother Bonnell joined in for that as well! We finished out the night with some finding and then the mission devotional. Good productive day.

Monday: Another day! We made a ton of invitations/contacts all morning and afternoon. We had a lesson with Ciera and it went really well just discussing the Book of Mormon over the phone. Elder Eccles called a guy in the ward and he said he served in Brazil and Elder Eccles was there for a few months and so they had a good conversation in portugués haha. Made a lot more invitations until night and then had a leadership call and bad news...we are getting restricted again with the increase in numbers. So pray for my mental health! Hontestly! We are doing a part 2 call tomorrow so that will probably be even more brutal... rip!

Tuesday: After the leadership call telling us we can no longer have pretty much any contact with members or other missionaries starting Dec. 3, today was good! We had a really good district council in the morning and then we had an awesome lesson with Caleb! Bishop Porter hopped in and we had a really good discussion about faith, the Book of Mormon, prayer, fasting, and testimony meeting in church. Caleb is showing a lot of really promising signs and it is really cool to see. We had an awesome dinner at brother Merrill's house and then came home and had a gospel study class and we hosted it and read all the articles of faith and discussed them. It went really well. We did finding to finish off the night and then it was done! Pday here I come!
