Transfer News (Good week too)

Wednesday November 11th: Today was super fun actually. We went for a doctor visit in the morning and that went well. We got haircuts and then went to Walmart. After that we went bowling and to an antique shop with the district! It was actually really cool, I found a juice wrld vinyl and was so tempted to get it just to put in my room or even send it home but it was too much money that I don't have and I can just order it in 15 months! We talked to family after, and then did a ton of finding and also taught the restoration to a guy named Derick. We referred him to the Sisters in Lousiana where he lives. Hoping that will go well. Later we taught a lady on a cold call but that didn't go anywhere at all sadly. And that wrapped up our day!!

Thursday: Today was sweet!! I gave my first baptismal interview as district leader!! Wow it was cool. The man I interviewed did awesome! He is getting baptized Saturday!! The Spirit was so strong and you could see the progression he is making in his life so rapidly, it's amazing watching it and being apart of Jesus Christ's true church. It can do so much to someone in such a small amount of time! We went to lunch with the Sisters afterwards at a mexican place and that was good. Then after that we watched an MTC devotional and then had a great plan of salvation lesson with Grace! It went awesome and Katie was there and did great once again too! We had dinner after and then did finding the rest of the night! Not too bad of a day but it did feel real long not gonna lie!

Friday: Today was crazy! We had it all scheduled for weekly planning and finding and we taught 3 member lessons and did service for a member too! The service was in the morning and Elder Packer and I got put on fire duty! We burned all the leaves, sticks, trees that the Sisters collected, we had a huge bonfire going! Both Elder Packer and I almost blew ourselves up at one point too but we only got a video of his hahah. Then we went to this older couples house who haven't been super active lately and had a really good lesson about prayer and God's love with them. They were so sweet and gave us enchiladas afterwards!! Then we went to another ladies house and I'm pretty sure I've talked about her before but she honestly has a 10 second memory and so we taught her the plan of salvation and she told us the same story like 15 times throughout the whole thing haha!  It was hilarious! Then we went the Candiani's and taught the 10 commandments and that went awesome, we invited another member and she brought her kids and they all got along really well including the mom's so that was a blessing! We had a member dinner from the relief society President and her family and they were nice too! We finished off the night finding and hitting our mission goal of 30 invitation a day then had our final zone call of the transfer, that was fun. Today was good, goodnight!

Saturday: Today we went to the Clarksville church building to have a lesson with a girl Elder Packer found on FB. She has been taught by the Sisters in her area but they invited us to a lesson because she wanted a priesthood blessing. Elder Packer gave that to her that and it was really good! We came home and then later left to a baptism for the Cunningham B sisters in the district and that was awesome!! We did all our weekly planning, then we did some finding at the church at night then finished off the night with one of my companionship calls I do weekly with the Sisters who had a baptism today, it was good!!

Sunday: Today was sweet! We had two people at sacrament again! Grace and Garret and they both really enjoyed it. There was a farewell talk, bishop gave a talk on gratitude and humility, and then the stake President gave a talk on service and making sure we don't listen to the world and fear our brothers and sisters that they might get us "sick". We came home and had a good lunch. Had a good comp study, did some finding and then went to dinner at the Borders. They were so nice. We came home and did more finding, I had another comp call and we finished off the night with the mission devotional, with all the missionaires giving their final testimonies that are going home :,(. It was a good day though!

Monday: We had district council this morning and that went really well. I got doughnuts for the district because I set a goal for them to hit including an incentive (doughnuts) and they did it! That was real fun! We went to lunch after with the Facebook stake specialists, the Pollock's, and they were super nice! Ruby Tuesdays wasn't too bad! Afterwards, we had comp study and then did some Facebook work. Later we headed to dinner with the Hodgkins! It was good to have another member dinner with the Sisters and get more familiar with that family! We came home made contacts then I had a leadership call to end the day!

Tuesday: Today was eh. We had a really good lesson with Katie in the morning and that was good forsure. We hung out with the Sisters at lunch for a bit and did some country dancing lol. Then we had lunch and good comp study and had some lessons fall through so we did some finding. We threw the baseball around for a bit, had dinner, did some finding, had a cold call turn into a lesson with a lady who was being taught by missionaries but moved away and never got in contact with the missionaires here! She already has a Book of Mormon and believes it's true and wants t learn more!! It was so cool! Such a miracle. We did finding last night and then the big finale... transfers. Elder Packer is training and white washing Japser Tennessee and I'm staying right here and receiving Elder Eccles who I know nothing about! Should be interesting!
