I was told to pack up my things!

Wednesday August 19th: Today was crazy busy but super fun! We woke up, did our morning routine then went shopping. We came home changed and then left and played soccer with a bunch of missionaires. Eventually some dude pulled up and kicked us off the field because of liability issues or something dumb but he was super cool about it and said he hated to do it. Later we went to another park and before we even started playing we got kicked off that one too, let me just say for the record, this is why kids stay inside all day on their technology nowadays you literally can't have fun outside without getting in trouble anymore, covid or not! Anyways, the guy who kicked us off the second field was even more cool and let us follow him to some hidden park and told us no one would bother us there:) We played kickball with the soccer ball since there was no goals and then "kill" which is another super fun game and honestly I had the best time!! Then we went straight to hang with our actual district. We decided on bowling and the first alley we went to was shut down because they are moving to another location but the second one put us on the VIP lane in like the private room and we had a super good time and had unlimited bowling for 2 hours haha! We got some Mickey D's on the way home and I got a double big mac which I didnt even know existed! We came home and just made contacts for the rest of the day, but it was a good one!! Oh yeah hit my 6 month mark today too. :)

Thur: Not too much to report on today! Had a new missionary/trainer meeting this morning until 1:00 and that was really good as it helped us all know how we can strengthen our companionship and be better missionaries in general! Then we went to do service at second harvest which was really fun as always! We came home and made contacts the rest of the day. A good day overall!

Fri: Today we had our weekly planning as always in the morning and then we had a good comp study to start the afternoon. We had a pretty good lesson on the restoration after that! We went over everything and it totally made sense to him! He said he wanted a Book of Mormon and a Bible from us and sent us his address right after, we were going to invite him to be baptized that lesson but his phone was about to die. We didn't have time but we felt really strongly about it so we texted him after and sadly we havent gotten a response yet, but no harm comes from inviting someone to be baptized! Other than that we just really did a lot of finding for the rest of the day so nothing to special there!

Sat: Today we had our comp study in the morning and then we did finding all afternoon....again! We went to David's for dinner and he made awesome lasagna and then we burned my tie for my 6 months!! That was pretty fun! Then we came home and did more finding until the day was through!

Sun: Today was good but not a whole lot to say about it! We had our comp study in the morning and then we had a lesson set up for the afternoon but it fell through of course, so then we called people all afternoon! We did have one cold call where a lady answered and we asked how she was doing she responded in a somewhat loopy sounding voice and said everything is unicorns and rainbows and then Elder Klingler said um yeah for sure thats awesome! And she said yeahhhh and before he could say anything else she said now you watch out for those unicorns! And hung up hahaha! We had a good dinner thanks to brother Gibbs and his family! Then we made calls and did facebook work until the devotional. The devotional consisted of about 5 sister bearing their farewell testimonies, but Elder Fisher told a story about a butterfly in the beginning and related it to how you have to be okay with change and accept it in order to grow, and how hard it can be to leave behind the past version of yourself, but once you do, you open yourself up to countless opportunities of so much more happiness! It was pretty dang good!

Mon: Today was awesome! We started off the day with district council and this last week we had an incentive given by Elder Iverson that if everyone hit 30 contacts a day like we are supposed to everyday then we would have a potluck, white elephant, game day hahaha (mix of ideas and we couldn't decide) but we were able to do it! So, that was super fun! Then we went to Murphreesboro and helped a lady named Jocelyn move! She was so extremely appreciative and sweet and it felt very good to help her! Spiritually that is, physically it was 90 degrees outside and like twice that temperature in the back of the moving truck and my skin was burning from my stupid acne medication lolol so there is some unneeded details for yall haha! Then we came home and had a good night calling people! Definitely a good day!

Tues: Woah!! I got a call from President Weaver this morning... I'm getting transferred... opening up a new area... training... and I'm a district leader!! I am definitely super excited, but also nervous, I know it will be good though. President Weaver told me how much trust he has in me and that he knows I can do this job well. I know that as I rely on the strength of the Lord, He will help me. "1 Nephi 3:7 And it came to pass that I, Nephi, said unto my father: I will go and do the things which the Lord hath commanded, for I know that the Lord giveth no commandments unto the children of men, save he shall prepare a way for them that they may accomplish the thing which he commandeth them." So don't send any more things to my old address! Afterwards we had a good comp study, did a shift at second Harvest and I said bye to stephanie and that was really sad :(( I'll miss doing service there! Then we came home and had lessons planned every 30 min. from 6-9, we even double booked ourselves and had 2 in 30 min time. But, not a single one answered, so we cold called and did Facebook work all night! Got further transfer info at night and I will be leaving here Thursday at 6:30....so crazy!!
