I was apart of a music video

Wednesday August 5th: Pday is one of the best days of the week! Today was good once again! We woke up did our morning routine then headed to Walmart afterwards I came home and talked to my Dad for awhile which was great! Then we went to the park and I bought a baseball glove and we threw the baseball around for a bit and went a hit at the end of the day too until we snapped the bat hahaha but that was a blast! We also played pickleball and frisbee. The park we went to had a memorial for a guy who died in a plane accident a few years back and the memorial was super cool so I'll throw in some pics of that and my glove as well! Afterwards we got back in our gear and did cold calling and Facebook until the end of the day... good pday overall though so it's alright!

Thur: Today wasnt too bad! Woke up had our district call and then went and filmed a quick video for the Facebook page. Did a little facebook finding and then headed to second Harvest and did a shift there! We came home had dinner and then did cold calling until night. We did have a lesson with a lady named Debra and it was on the restoration and it went pretty well! She has a strong belief in God. She knows he can do anything and so that helped a lot because shes absolutely right, sadly however she as well is not in our area so we passed her off to the Sisters next door :/ hopefully we find someone in our area soon!!

Fri: Woke up and had our weekly planning like we do every Friday, and that took us all morning. During the afternoon we went and cleaned up another greenway and had a fun time with the district! A sister in the district wanted a blessing after as well and she gave me the opportunity to do it and that was cool as always to be able to do. We came home and made some contacts, we talked to that lady named Jackie again who is having a hard time with the spirit world because she thinks we are in a state of sleep until we are resurrected becuase of examples like the daughter of Jairus and Lazarus, so we will have to work on that with her. We had an awesome lesson with a guy named Mark on the restoration and that went really well too! He told us he would read some of his Book of Mormon, that he got long ago, and pray about it and our message again! During our last break Elder Klingler and I threw the baseball around. Whenever I'm playing sports in the backyard at night, it just always hits me again and again that I'm really out here on my mission. I just remember always feeling like this day was always so far away and would never come and here I am just about a 1/4 of the way done... wild.

Sat: Nothing too special happened this morning, just had our district call and a comp study! After lunch we went to the chruch to record some music for a video a Sister is putting together and that was fun, not because we gotta sing lol, but because we gotta talk and see everyone. Then we came home and basically did cold calls until Elder Iverson's leadership call. That took alonge time but it wasn't too bad and we all threw the baseball around out back again during our break so that was good too! We have a lot of lessons planned for tomorrow though so cross your fingers that when you read the next day it will be full of lessons!!

Sun: Well yall did NOT cross your fingers hard enough... out of the 5 lessons we only had 2 :/ but the two went very well. We started the morning off with the sacrament and then we has a comp study and tried to confirm all our lessons. For the afternoon we had our first lesson cancel so we moved our second to last lesson up and we taught about prophets using the pb&j object lesson which demonstrates how we need direction and guidance from someone who receives revelation in life! Then we had our next one move her appointment to later and the one after her canceled. We had dinner from Sister Alvarado and it was super good! Then had the lesson that rescheduled and we taught the restoration and it went great! Afterwards we had our mission devotional again and talked about diligence and the blessings it can bring if we have it, and how only good comes from it and a really good quote Elder Williamsen said was "Why would we withhold ourselves from happiness? We know how to get it... so why not do it?" I really liked that.

Mon: This morning we woke up and went to the church for district council as well as filming a video for another Facebook post, which should be really interesting haha! The district council was good though and we talked about the importance of the Book of Mormon, especially during someone's conversion. It was really good! We went to lunch after and Elder Klingler had to be in a spanish video for someone reason, even though he is not a Spanish missionary, and so we hung around for a bit and I played some basketball with Elder Myers. That was pretty fun too... for me at least, it's never fun losing so I feel bad for the elder but it's okay! ;)) We came home and did personal and comp study after and then we made some contacts and had a lesson with a guy named Marc and almost all his beliefs were the same as ours but he had his own church, so that was unfortunate but we have another lesson with him soon! We also had a lesson with Susan! We taught the restoration and got almost all the way to the end and then her phone lost connection and she texted us and said to call back but she never answered so hopefully she gets a better connection next time! ;)

Tue: Today was good! We had our district call and comp study this morning then we had service at second harvest during the afternoon and stephanie (the lady that runs it let me play 2 songs and I thoroughly enjoyed every second of those 2 songs. Afterwards we came home and we had a lesson with a guy named Ryan and man that dude had the weirdest beliefs! We tried to teach him the first vision and then he said, "Wow, that same thing happened to me and God told me to start my own church too!" Then he said that we are all God and we just need to realize that and once we do we can live in a state of bliss. Super interesting to say the least hahaha then we just continued on for the rest of the night, nothing too special!
