Elder LaPray Nashville Tennessee

Wednesday July 22nd: Today was a good day.  We woke up and went to Walmart got the things we needed and then we headed to Sister Ruggles house. She gave me, Elder Iverson, and Elder Bolingbroke haircuts which was so nice of her! Afterwards we headed home for a quick shower and then went and played pickleball with the stones river 1 sisters again. Then it started dumping rain and we tried to hide under the trees but it wasn't letting up and so we booked if for the cars and got absolutely soaked! Then it finally ended up stopping and we went to a different tennis court and played spike ball and pickle ball there! Then we went home and went and got dinner and dropped Chris off some drink mix that I got him and we made some contacts until coordination then we had that meeting over zoom and that was our pday!  Thurs: Today was a good day! Wednesday July 15th: Today we woke up and headed to the Spanish Elders placee. We hung out there for a couple hours and headed to the Sisters park area again and played pickleball for a good while! It was really fun to be with a lot of the missionaires in the zone again! Afterwards we came home and had an awesome lesson with a lady that our ward mission leader found when he was knocking some new move ins! She was awesome and we taught the restoration and she seemed to really like it! It was so cool to have an in person lesson again!! It's basically the same thing as over the phone but its just so weird actually being there! It was a super long lesson because she loves to talk and we brought another member who loves to talk also so they got along awesome but it was like an hour and a half lesson haha! Wednesday July 8th: Today was a good day! Woke up sent all my emails out and then went to Walmart with Elder Wilson. We came back and changed then we drove to the Zone leaders place and we went to Burger King and then met up with a lot of more missionaries at the Sisters apartment's complex and played pickle ball, spikeball, volleyball and had I had a great time but it was hot as all get out haha! Then we came home and called a less active member and she told us all these things about why she was inactive but she still has a testimony etc. Nothing really important but long story short we set up a lesson at the church with her this Sunday! We had good a ward coordination meeting and then it was off to bed.  Thur: Today we had our district call then did comp study. Elder Iverson and I talked for a really long time sharing insights about a lot of things mainly about whether or not we have done our job together as companions. Wed: Hung out a little bit this morning and then headed to Walmart, we got what we needed came home and put it all away and then went to London again! When we got there we all hung out for a bit and the Spanish Elders still had to go shop so while they did that Elder Iverson and I talked to family until they got back. We hung out for a bit when they got back then went to Blaze Pizza and ate with them and the Stones River 1 Sisters. Then we all went and played sand volleyball and spike ball until we had to go. Loved getting to do that again. We came home and had a couple lessons fall through sadly. We had ward coordination and the stake presidency is really working with our ward right now to help them/us move the work forward in this area. Then we read 2 Nephi 16 and 17 with Barbara over zoom and it's the Isaiah chapters so not much to talk about there, although I'd invite you to go and read them because with Isaiah chapters there will always be something that stands out to you ...

Wednesday June 24th: Today was a decent pday. We are almost out of miles on our car and have to use the reaminder of them tomorrow to help someone move so we spent most of the day in our apartment which wasn't that exciting and so routine. Talked to family most of the morning and then went to Walmart came home and talked to family and emailed some more, not really a super interesting pday haha. After 6 we had a couple lessons planned but neither of them responded when we called. We had our ward coordination meeting and then ended up talking to David for a little bit too and set up a dinner appointment for tomorrow! Looking forward to getting out tomorrow.
