Facebook, Facebook, and more Facebook!

Wednesday May20th, Woke up and hung out all morning emailing and calling family. Later we had a carpet cleaner guy come and he was super interested in who we are and what we do. He has family that to go to our church and they took him to a temple open house and he really liked it. He gave us his number and said we can call him anytime so that was sweet. Then we went to a leather shop and a pawn shop and then to Walmart and that was fun. Talked to family again, then had an awesome lesson with Chris. David got us sonic and we had a fun time talking to him as well. Finished off pday with a zone devotional call and that went well too. Nighttime 

Thur: Got up and went for a run this morning and I learned that fat guys shouldn't run... had a good devotional afterwards and then a good comp study followed by a zone Facebook call which went decently well. We had an awesome lesson with a lady named Shirley. We lost contact with a man named Phillip for the time being which is sad. He told us his cousin told him too stay away from us. We told him we will always be here and our job is only to bring him closer to Christ not necessarily get him to change his religion. We had two more phone calls with formers afterwards which went really well too! Bed 

Fri: Had a good morning! Had our devotional and made a few contacts then we planned for a long time. Had a good comp study then walked to the gas station and got some drinks for our exercise time. We drove up to get my hair cut today. We went on pday but apparently because of the virus you have to make appointments over the phone and when I tried to do that Wednesday they had a 2 hour wait so I had to wait until today and call in the morning lol but I got it and had a really good convorsation with the Lyndsey and she did a good job on my hair too! Sportsclips MVP never disappoints! We had Taco Bell, thanks to Sister Dunaway, and that was sweet! Then made a video for Elder Clarke playing the guitar and finished planning outside on our porch in the rain (we have a roof) and it was super fun! It was a really good day of planning! Out like a light. 

Sat: Today was SWEET!!! Chris got baptized and I had the honor of doing it! It was so incredible! He is honestly such a stud and I am so happy for him. I've loved all the baptisms I've been apart of thus far dont get me wrong, but I feel like I was able to see Chris progress and work instead of just being there near the end if that makes sense. I truly love the guy, and I know for a fact that the decision he has made today, will change his life forever. That is what the gospel does it changes lives, and that is why I am here, I'm not here for fun...obviously... I am here because I know the Lord wants me to be, and to do his work on earth and what a blessing it is for me to able to see the results. Other than that we hung out with Hermanas at the church for a minute, got 50 spicy chicken nuggets at wendy's for 10 bucks which is an unbelievable deal if you ask me... we helped some sisters make a video for Facebook. Did some Facebook contacting and some regular contacting. Definitely a special day, I loved it. Snooze

Sun: Had a good daily devotional and then a quick personal study. Had a really good lesson with the Cameron's and then had a couple contacts and then an awesome lesson with a guy named Sean who was super receptive and cool! Then had an awesome lesson with Glenda and Sister Sutherland and we set it up for them to meet and I was super nervous about it because I wanted it to go well and it totally did and I was stoked! Had a great comp study, then talked to family which was super sweet. Had another great dinner from the Newbells, porkchop and potato salad! Then we had a super good lesson with a lady named Shirley who is so sweet and I really love talking to her and she said something along the lines of "At least you'll be here for at least another week" because we told her about transfers coming up, but it was just so cool to hear how much she enjoys talking to us. Caught some FIREFLIES! Had a mission wide devotional then talked to family until bed. Real good day. Out. 

Mon: Had a good morning and a super dumb lesson with a dude who just wanted to bash which was unfortunate. We gave him answers to every question and he just kept saying but, but, but. Went to the church and had a good time talking to the Hermanas and making contacts. Went to sonic made some more contacts from our area and then Elder Clarkes area. Had a fun dinner hour, then had some more contacts. I packed up my stuff for the night as I'm on my first exchange with Elder Barrier in Mt. Juliet! It should be a good day tomorrow! Night! 

Tues: Today was good! Had a good workout in the morning at the gym. Their apartment complex has one and it was open (obviously because we went) which was sweet! Then we had an awesome zoom devotional hosted by President Smith. Had a good lunch and cooked Turkey burgers which were really good! Made some contacts then went on a bike ride then had a fb zone call. For dinner we made breakfast burritos! Did more Facebook and made a good amount a contact with people! Tossed the football around and then came back home to my apartment and talked to my companions about their day and mine! I love my companions a ton! It's good to be back!! Bed!
