3 Months!

Wednesday May 13th: Had a great morning talked to family before they headed into work and cooked some super good breakfast sandwiches with Elder Tietjen! Then we talked to family again and later headed to the arcade. We had a super fun time there and it was so fun to get out! Then we went to Walmart got the necessities and by necessities I mean chips doughnuts breakfast sandwiches,  flavored water, yanno the necessities... went home made contacts with not a ton of luck. We were hung up on twice... :( then had a zone call about the zone Facebook page and then talked to family until bed, now I'm here. Good pday even though it flew by once again! Snooze 

Thur: We had two long meetings today and so it was a slower day haha! First we had a meeting in the morning with Elder Ellis about vehicle safety for the new missionaries. Then we tried to deliver a book of mormon request to one of the people that hung up on me yesterday and he wasn't home. Then we had a great lesson with Chris about the 10 commandments! Then we had our 2nd meeting about the Facebook page, followed by dinner then basketball. The AP's came over to drop off Elder Clarke's last area's sim card. He is the only missionary in the field right now that has been there as all the other missionaries headed home. That area is closed right now and when it reopens Elder Clarke will most likely go back to avoid a white wash situation, so he is staying in touch with people there. The AP's then told us basketball isn't allowed and we are only allowed to walk for our excercise time which is the dumbest thing I've ever heard! Had a great lesson with the Newbell's and taught the 10 commandments again! Then did some Facebook finding until bed! Rest! 

Fri: Had a good morning! Did weekly planning the entire time and then had lunch. We had a super good lesson with the Camerons. Ever since Elder Ballard left, lessons with them have been a little awkward. We were just able to talk for most of the lesson today which was a tender mercy forsure! Made a few member contacts, had a great quick lesson with Glenda! Chris brought us dinner and holyyyyy that man can cook!! Literally very debatable for the best meal I've had yet here. Then we called people from Elder Clarke's area then watched a book of mormon video and finally Sleep!! 

Sat: Today was good! Started out with some Facebook contacting and then went to the church for family history. We stayed there for awhile and had 3 lessons! All from Facebook and one was in our area! It was super cool! Then we tried to go knock on violets door again because she still hasn't gotten back to us yet and her car was outside but no answer... :( I got a drink at sonic and that was awesome! We made a few more contacts and one of them was Ian he has been talking to me lately about working out and football and I always toss a little doctrine in there and it has been going fairly well! We did some contacts from Elder Clarkes area and Sister Dunaway brought us Panda which was amazing, and the Torgersen's brought doughnuts! I was told I'd be eating ramen as a missionary and I am yet to be hungry... at all. I'm actually gaining way too much weight so if someone has tips, help an elder out! We finished out the night with a lesson with Barbara and that went well too! Excited for sleep night! 

Sun: Happy Sabbath! Started out the day with a sacrament session with the Cameron's, it went awesome! We updated all our records and then had a call with the ward mission leader which went well too. Talked to some people over facebook then had an awesome time talking to family! Went to David's for sacrament and that was really good! Then we had a good comp study and finished out the day with a mission wide devotional and that was really good too! I have been super tired today, so it has come to pass...shleep!!

Mon: Had district council this morning which went really well! Had a good call with a less active member then dropped off a large print Book Of Mormon to Glenda and talked to her for awhile. It was really fun to finally meet her and not just hear a voice over the phone! Had a lot of success Facebook finding and got another lesson out of it! Man was it crazy too, sometimes you realize your problems are really not that bad compared to other people, definitely humbling. Had a good comp study and called some other formers from Elder Clarkes area. We had an awesome dinner from the Newbells had another good lesson with another inactive member, then had a good contact with a super solid member. Finally finished off the night by getting some more Facebook contacts and this allowed us to get to know some of the Sister missionaries in our district better (Sister Munnerlyn and Sister Perez)! It was really fun and now time for bed. Slumber

Tue: Woke up and wished my sister Hannah a happy birthday! Hit my 3 month mark! We had a lot of Facebook time this morning and it went really well! Then we went to Walmart and got Barbara a present for her birthday! It was just a small stuffed fox but I think she really appreciated it! Had some contacts and Chris is doing amazing!! Had a good comp study, and then called people from Elder Elder Clarke's area and had a really good lesson with one of his investigators. Had a good dinner brought to us by Dr Bailey. Did more facebook and David dropped off some ice cream cake for Barbara's birthday. Pday eve, night!!
