Elder LaPray Nashville Tennessee

Wednesday, March 18th, My first p-day in the field was pretty great. The zone leaders slept over at our place and we hung out at the apartment all morning emailing friends and talking to family. We then headed to the bowling alley and bowled 3 games and got shoes for a total of  $9  it was great! I also bowled really well surprisingly haha. Then we headed to drop off the car and we were planning on going to Sams Club to eat but cuz of the coronavirus it was closed. So we dropped off the car and David picked us up and we told him Chick Fil A but he saw Waffle House was open and swerved right in haha. I thought it might be bad but it turned out being super good. The Waffle Houses' out here are definitely better than the ones in Colorado. Then headed home and talked to family again. This is when we recieved word we were being put on lockdown/self-isolation. Week 3 Thur: Woke up had breakfast had an awesome session at the temple and almost saw my mom but we missed each other by 3 mins :(( did my laundry ate some lunch and emailed and skyped until like 5:30 had a decent dinner got some wraps with my companion cuz I wasn't about to eat MTC salmon or salmon period. Then had a fun exercise night and now I'm off to bed Fri: Slept in a little by accident still made it on time to breakfast had a good last trc lesson with our investagor meryn. Found out a music album I've been waiting on for  two years was released today and I almost risked it all and snuck into the computer lab but luckily god smacked my hand and told me NO! Had a good class, my comp slid on a bench and got a ton of slivers so after lunch we went to the nurse and she referred us to the doc who did his best and sent us to the clinic so we got to leave the prison gates for a few minutes! Elder LaPray left the MTC and flew out to Nashville Tennessee on Wednesday March 11th. His dad and I just "happened" to be at the public bus stop that morning in Provo. While we were waiting we could see about 10 missionaries walking toward us. It was Elder LaPray! What a surprise.;) We only got to visit for about 5 minutes before the bus came but it was enough time for me to give him one last hug and kiss and some clorox wipes and hand sanitizer for  the plane. This COVID19 thing is quite popular these days;)  He arrived in Nashville about 5:15. We received a quick phone call from him stating that he has arrived safely and has met his Mission Preisident and will eat dinner at their home and sleep there that night. The next day I received an email from Sister Hissong with a couple of pictures. Thur: Today was awesome!!! Woke up a little late due to an alarm prank gone wrong, but luckily it was pday! Grabbed a way quick breakfast and headed to the temple and had an awesome session. The sisters in our district were kinda mad we weren't there when they wanted to meet cuz we were late. But I think its dumb cuz we were supposed to be there at 9 and we were! They wanted to be way early which was crazy if you ask me! Anyway tho like I said it was an awesome session and i had elder swank in my session too! Then did laundry and accidentally washed my suit pants which should be dry clean only but i think they are okay lol. Then lunch and then had a super long talk with my family and sent out and had a few emails, love talking to my friends via email and fam via Skype!
