Locked up!

Weekly  Wed: Well my first day is coming to an end and it has been really fun. My companion is Elder Gosney (gawz-knee) and he has been super cool. He is motivated, but not too serious so that's dope, weve already talked about how weird TN is going be with new companions. We had lots of introductions and tours and got asked the questions "whats your name?" "Where are you from?" "Where are you going?" "One interesting fact?" And "why are you serving a mission?" Probably 100 times, so that got old! Elder Hess is body builder, but brought star wars action figures so im still trying to get a read on him, funny guy though he asked "Do you dare me?" to everything today and he just got done brushing his teeth with hand soap lol... found some scrolls and such in the vents (pic below) and that wraps up day 1! Thurs: Today was my first full day! Still doing good and love it here, definitely think of when I'll be comimg home some...

My Companion is 25! (First Email home)

Entering the Missionary Training Center

Woke up in the morning to finish packing. We then headed out for lunch at Riverside Country Club with my family, nana, grandpa, and grandma (papa is in Arizona playing in a golf tournament)It was nice to visit at lunch. Crying set in for a few of my siblings as we were getting ready to leave. We stopped at the Provo Temple for a few quick photos then headed toward the MTC. My checkin time was 12:30. It was a quick drop off as there was a line of cars. Maybe that made the goodbye a little easier for me. Now the work begins.  First MTC photo taken by my Aunt Sarah. It was nice to have her there to check me. Me and my Nana Thomas Me and Grandma LaPray
